Kindling - Our Bag Sizes
Each of our bags of Norfolk kindling measures 70cm x 50cm, weigh approx. 5kg and are packed to the top with quality, seasoned wood.
Kindling Size
Each kindling stick typically measures around 19cm in length. They’re light, easily flammable (in the right conditions) and the perfect size for almost every woodburner and open fire.
Number of Sticks
Given the varying sizes of each stick, it’s difficult to be precise about the number of pieces in each bag (so we’re not!). However, each bags weighs approximately 5kg. We do our best to stuff-in as many as possible to each and every order – no space at all is wasted.

Delivery & Payment
Free Delivery
We offer free delivery for four or more bags of kindling across North Norfolk. We’ll deliver these orders to almost any residential or commercial address in the region. And remember: if you buy a bag of logs from us, you’ll receive a supply of kindling free of charge. If you live outside of North Norfolk, we charge a small and fair delivery charge – simply ask us about it by contacting us here.
Delivery Days
We’ll deliver kindling and firewood in North Norfolk seven-days-a-week, 360-something days-a-year. We’ll also deliver outside of office hours if it’s easier for you.
Next and Same-Day
North Norfolk Firewood will generally endeavour to deliver your order of kindling or logs on the following day after you’ve placed an order with us. In the case of emergencies, we may also be able to deliver on the same day – just ask and we’ll do our best.
Payment Types
Unlike most kindling and log delivery in North Norfolk firms, we don’t take payment in advance. Instead, we accept cash and card on the day of delivery – and we won’t take a penny unless you’re 100% happy with your order of kindling (which, of course, you will be).
